Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the dental office - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for patients - Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary patient information - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of all data - Assist with billing and payment processing - Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns - Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar role is preferred - Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology is a plus - Proficiency in using Eaglesoft dental software systems - Familiarity with dental scheduling and patient service protocols - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Knowledge of phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes Please note that this job description is not exhaustive, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
