Human Resources Generalist

Responsibilities:
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development - Communicate effectively with other team stakeholders at all levels of the organization - Stay up-to-date on employment labor laws and ensure compliance within the organization - Check employee timesheets and assist with payroll and assist with accounts payable functions as needed - Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications - Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings - Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations - Performs other duties as assigned
Experience:
- Minimum of 1-2 year of experience in a Human Resources role - Experience with benefits administration and enrollment processes - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Accurate data entry skills with a keen attention to detail - In-depth understanding of employment labor laws and regulations - Experience working with payroll software - Must speak Spanish or Mandarin Job Types:
