Business Development Manager for Military and Veteran Affairs

Fulgent Genetics LLC, is growing its US sales team and is looking for a regional executive to cover Military and Veteran Affairs, and government contracts.
Responsibilities:
Lead and strategize Business Development & Sales effort for Fulgent products to the US Military and VA accounts.
Maintain a high level of knowledge of Fulgent's products and the needs of both the clinical and research NGS markets.
Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients (military hospitals, VA hospitals, and government research institutions) in the US.
Support educational or promotional events with government institutions.
Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with clinical and research government institutions.
Collect and organize information from relevant market segments, including the competitive landscape and factors that might influence customer behavior.
Work to continuously promote organic growth of his/her territory.
Communicate and collaborate with the respective team, develop a market plan for short, medium and long-term growth.
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in life sciences (or Bachelors plus >2 years of exposure to biological or clinical sciences).
Minimum of 2 years of job experience (sales or clinical experience).
Availability to travel =25% of the time.
Self-motivated, accountable for managing his/her own time.
Goal oriented, fast learner with the ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving market.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in genetics, biotechnology or genetic counseling.
Experience selling genetic testing.
Experience working with US government agencies.
General understanding of oncology, neurology, cardiology and pediatrics.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
